With an explosive gameplay trailer debuting exclusively on IGN.com, Ice Code Games announced the details of their upcoming new game Nightmare Frontier. The tactical extraction looter is the next evolution of turn-based tactical combat that ICG is acclaimed for.

Building on the award-winning Hard West 2 and Rogue Waters, this new foray into the tactical genre incorporates both the dynamic melee-combat and bravado-fueled fast shootouts into a tighter, more flexible mix.

Set in the alternative 1900s, Nightmare Frontier sets players loose in a West Coast city overrun by Dreadweavers: otherworldly monstrosities feeding on humanity’s deepest fears. It’s up to the protagonist, a ringleader of a band of survivors, to find a path to prosper in this new reality.
