PC Gamer needs no introduction as one of the world’s most respected and oldest outlets. For many developers on the Ice Code Games team it’s one of the most important ones to impress: so many of us are strategy and tactics fans, a genre long championed by PC Gamer. Thus it brings us spectacular joy for Hard West 2 to be honored as editor Jody Macgregor’s Personal Pick in the magazine’s Game of the Year feature.

2022 was a year full of great games by talented studios and to be remembered in such company is some of the highest praise imaginable. We are grateful to Jody and to everyone else who accompanies us on the journey of developing ever improving games.
